Mrs. Jay Z washes away Sasha Fierce by eschewing footwear and hair brushes for God:
"Who I am on stage is very, very different to who I am in real life. But I don`t see that having a sexy image when you are on stage means that you don`t love God. No one knows what I`m really like from that. I like to walk around with bare feet and I don`t like to comb my hair."
She's right. Religious people never wear shoes, well, except for Jesus and those sandals that hippies wear now.
Beyonce, there's a stark difference between sexy and slutty. You're never sexy on stage - you're the latter instead. You bang on about being elegant, classy and sophisticated (which, to me, would be 'sexy') but never exhibit any of such qualities in your badly tailored and near-thonged leotards that force everyone to pray that you've Brazilianised when you whine and grind through every routine. Truly classy and sophisticated people dress and act modestly in public places, which is something that you fail to grasp.
Effectively, you convey yourself as a hypocrite, particularly when aligned with the faith you profess. You are effectively selling your body, flesh and bodily intimacy for popularity, fame and ultimately money. Isn't that prostitution? That's where questions about your devoutness come into play because you contravene the personal and spiritual propriety and astuteness expected from your professed religion. And if it is all an act, then it's even worse because you're then saying that contrary to your mantra about being a 'true' artist, you are actually opposite of that. Again, hypocrisy.
